Other services you can contact

  • If you would you like to speak to a medical professional you can call the NHS line on 111.
  • For free, private and confidential support for children and young people, call Childline on 0800 1111, or visit the Childline website, which has loads of great advice, activities to try, message boards and more: https://www.childline.org.uk.

Mental health support

  • If you’re struggling and you just need to talk, call the Samaritans on 116 123.
  • You can use the free online text service called Shout, which offers immediate support, 24 hours a day. Text 85258.
  • If you’re a child or young person struggling with your mental health, you can visit the Young Minds website for advice.
  • If you’re between the ages of 11-25, take a look at this free, safe, membership website, where you can share your problems anonymously and get support for anything life throws at you. Visit Kooth: https://www.kooth.com
