MDVS is led by a team of dedicated trustees with a broad range of skills knowledge experience and attributes who are committed to the charities aims and values. Our trustees have general control and management of the administration of the charity.
As a registered charity, Merseyside Domestic Violence Service is governed by a Board of Trustees who are committed to the work of the organisation, and prepared to offer time to ensure that it is run efficiently and effectively.
Our Trustees are all voluntary roles and we ensure that we always have a diverse range of professionals, community representatives and interested people who bring a wide range of experience and skills to the charity.
Their prime role is to ensure that funds are used and spent in the best interests of our service users and the public. They are also accountable for ensuring that the organisation is safe, effective and delivers its strategic goals. They do this by advising, attending meetings to discuss, debate and make informed decisions on behalf of the charity. As well as this they enjoy visiting services and providing support for staff.
