Peer Support Groups

We know how tough it can be when someone you care about is living with domestic abuse. That’s why we’re developing peer support groups specifically for family members, friends and loved ones who are trying to support someone through it.

These groups will offer a safe, welcoming space where you can talk about what you’re going through, share your experiences and connect with others who understand how it feels because you’re not on your own, so many people are navigating similar worries, emotions and challenges.

Our peer-led sessions, supported by trained facilitators, will give you the chance to

Talk openly in a supportive, non-judgemental environment
Learn how to support your loved one safely and effectively
Explore ways to look after your own wellbeing too
Access trusted information and resources as needed

Supporting someone in an abusive relationship isn’t easy but you don’t have to carry it all on your own. These sessions are about connection, understanding and reminding you that help is there for you, too.

Your Safety is our main concern
