There are several easy ways that you can donate any amount(s) to MDVS. Here we describe how to make financial donations by post, or online, or via the taxman.
Being a non-government organisation, means funding is a tough challenge and our organisation exists only by means of grants, business sponsorships, direct donations from the public, and the proceeds of fundraising events organised by dedicated friends and supporters.
Direct Donations Online
Just Giving
Just Giving is our preferred means of donating online. It’s quick and easy to do. You can choose to make a one off payment or make arrangements to set up regular monthly payments. Just click the purple donate button to the right of this page.

Give as you Live, is a fantastic online fundraising tool that works with thousands of brands including Play.com, John Lewis and Expedia. Once you sign up to Give as you Live and then make an online purchase to one of the websites listed they will donate a percentage of every purchase you make online to us. All at no cost to you and at no cost to us!
Thousands of companies will donate money to us when you shop with them online through “Give as you Live™.
Leave a legacy
Leaving a bequest to Merseyside Domestic Violence Services in your will is an enormously valuable way of showing your support. Your gift can help us plan ahead with the confidence that we have sufficient funds to work towards a future without domestic violence. (read more)
Payroll Giving
You can donate to MDVS directly from your salary by nominating to give to us through your company’s payroll giving scheme. Your donation will come directly from your salary. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £1.00 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you’re a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p. For more information on Payroll Gving please contact Admin. If your employer doesn’t currently provide this option, find out how one can be implemented in your company.
Donate Goods
Contact MDVS to find out if your unwanted items can be used in a refuge. Your unwanted items could go towards transforming the lives of vulnerable people.
