Workshops & Training

Workshops

Want to know how to support someone affected by domestic abuse but not sure where to start? Our free workshops are a great place to begin.

These sessions are open to anyone in the community who wants to better understand domestic abuse and how to respond when someone they care about might be going through it.

We’ll look at

What domestic abuse really is (and what it isn’t)
Some of the signs you might notice
Why people stay and why it’s never as simple as “just leaving”
How friends, family, neighbours and colleagues can offer safe, supportive help

You don’t need to be a professional, just someone who cares and wants to make a difference, because the truth is, most of us know someone who’s been affected by domestic abuse and with the right tools and understanding, you can be a lifeline.

Come along, get informed and find out how you can help someone feel less alone.

Your Safety is our main concern
